Kimberley Seitz - Director
My name is Kimberley Seitz, and I am the Director of Mountain States Early Head Start. My role is to work with the Board, Policy Council, and staff to develop and implement program goals, ensure policies and procedures are in place, we are compliant with performance regulations, and that we have a welcoming program with trained staff able to support pregnant women, children, and families. I also work with community partners to ensure services are effective. I enjoy getting to work with parents on Policy Council and meeting many of you at the centers. I have two German Shepherds, love to boat, and enjoy reading and vacations. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourself.
Jana Brooks - Center Manager
As Center Manager, I support MSEHS programming on a site level and program wide. I supervise and support staff who provide direct services to families, as well as maintaining a safe, welcoming center for families. I am passionate about promoting a healthy work environment for staff, as well as providing services that support healthy families from the start.
I have lived in the pacific northwest my whole life, and I have 2 children who have grown into wonderful young adults, as well as sweet pup and feisty cat.
Ioana Siegler - ERSEA Manager
My name is Ioana Siegler. People call me “E”. I am the Eligibility and Enrollment Manager at Mountain States Early Head Start. My job is to meet with new families and talk with them about our application and enrollment process and let them know about all the services and support our program has to offer! I enjoy getting to know the parents and children who are interested in our program and how we can support them in their parenting journey.
I am originally from Romania and came to the United States when I was 16. My family and I have lived in Coeur d’Alene for 20 years and we absolutely love this beautiful place!
Kristin Moody - Comm Engagement/Prg Data Coord.
My position has several components that help to support our families and our program. One of my main roles is interacting with community partners to promote our program and learn about resources and opportunities that we can share with our families. I have lived in the area my whole life, but I am always amazed to learn more about our wonderful community. When I am not at work, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my family
Luanne Jacobson - Program Assistant
I have been the Program Assistant at MSEHS for 9+ years and my hands are in just about everything. I love supporting our families and watching them learn and grow, but I also have the pleasure of working with the entire MSEHS staff in a variety of ways. They keep me pretty busy. I was born and raised in Spokane and moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1979. I am married to a proud CDA native, have 1 child and 1 grandchild (so far). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening and finding new places to go to breakfast.
Alisha Williams - Center Assistant
My name is Alisha Williams. I am the Center Assistant for our Coeur d’Alene Center. My job is to meet and greet the families when they visit our facility for PG, enrollment or just to stop by and say hello, and to ensure the facility is maintained accordingly. Each family we see has something wonderful that they bring to the center. I have two kids myself and enjoy doing anything outdoors and adventurous with them! I have been with MSEHS since 2017 and look forward to many more great years and experiences with them!
Jaki Waldvogel - Family Consultant
I am a mother of two. I enjoy spending time with my children, learning about psychology/neuroscience, and being outdoors. I enjoy being a Family Consultant, working in the homes with families, creating goals, talking about child development, the importance of parent child connection, and watching families grow. I love that the staff at MSEHS has opportunities to continue to grow through staff development and training, making sure that we are bringing the best practices into the homes of the families we work with.
Erin Ault - Health Data Coord & Family Consultant
My name is Erin. I grew up in Wallace but went to college in North Dakota where I met my husband. We currently live in Post Falls, and have three beautiful children. I am a Family Consultant in Shoshone County as well as the Health Data Coordinator for the entire program. As a Family Consultant, I have the pleasure of working directly with children, their families and pregnant women through weekly home visits and works as part of a team in supporting other program activities. I also assist families in developing goals and activities that help developmental progress. In my role as Health Data Coordinator, I monitor health, safety, and nutrition data and coordinate health, safety, and nutrition services, ensuring health and safety requirements are maintained. I also support staff with understanding how to enter data, and working directly with community providers to enhance partnerships, and build trust and positive relationships in our communities.
Sharon Prentice - Family Consultant
My name is Sharon. I have been a Family Consultant for MSEHS for seven years, and an ABC coach for 2 years. Meeting and getting to know each new family is my favorite thing about my job. I feel like I learn from them as they share their experiences and strengths.
I am originally from Spokane but have lived in several different areas of the Pacific Northwest. During my time off I like to read, watch movies and take walks. I especially love watching my three grandchildren grow!
Lindsey Entel - Family Consultant
My name is Lindsey Entel. I am a Family Consultant at Mountain States Early Head Start. I am also one of the certified ABC Parenting Coaches. I enjoy working as a family consultant because I find fulfillment in building relationships with people and sharing their achievements with them. In my spare time I love to cook and get outside with my two little boys, ages 1 and 4. I grew up in Spokane Valley and after high school moved to California where I finished my schooling and married my husband who at that time was in the Marines. I always knew we would end up back home with family and friends because we love this place and how beautiful it is.
Laurie Klug - Family Consultant
My name is Laurie Klug. I am a family consultant; also known as a home visitor here at MSEHS. I can help support you with questions or concerns regarding your child’s development; and what to expect as he/she grows. I have lived in beautiful Northern Idaho since I was a child; and have been so blessed to raise my own family here. I enjoy many activities that involve spending time in the outdoors. Much of my free time is spent with family and friends. I look forward to getting to know your family.
Morgan Sampson - Family Consultant
Karen Dapron - Family Consultant
I am Karen Dapron. I work mostly in Shoshone County and also live here. I am a Family Consultant and have been with this wonderful program for 2 ½ years. I previously worked at an Early Head Start in Montana for 12 years as a home visitor also. I greatly enjoy working with young children and their families and look forward to many more years doing so. I am a mother of 5 in a blended family and love spending time with my family. I also enjoy the outdoors and love to catch a good concert!
Catie Kotmel - Playgroup Coordinator
My name is Catie Kotmel. I am the Playgroup Coordinator for the Coeur d’Alene and Lakeland Centers. I plan and implement the playgroups that are offered to all families at MSEHS. It is such a joy to watch our enrolled children and families grow in so many ways. I am a Circle of Security Facilitator and a TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner. I moved to the Coeur d’Alene area about five years ago. I like to spend time outdoors, especially in a hammock reading a good book.
