Sandpoint Center Staff
Bambi Marshall - Center Assistant
Hello, my job is to meet and greet our visiting families and community members. I provide support to our staff and assist our Playgroup Coordinator during family playgroups and prepare the snacks that are served. I enjoy meeting our families and interacting with them during their visits to our center. I also support a variety of center and community events. My family and I have been Sandpoint residents for over three decades and we absolutely love what our area has to offer; water sports, snow sports, hiking, camping and the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Molly Fay - Family Consultant / PG Coord.
My name is Molly Fay. I have worked at Mountain States Early Head Start in Sandpoint since 2002. I have two roles in our program. As a Playgroup Coordinator, I work with our Playgroup team to carry out the various different Playgroup experiences our program has to offer. As a Family Consultant, I provide weekly visits with families, supporting child and family development and well-being. I am also trained as a Circle of Security facilitator. I value the opportunity I have with families to delight in the children, anticipate and celebrate milestones, as well as being a support through challenges, when they arise. I appreciate learning about how each family is unique, and I strive to truly collaborate with families with respect and compassion. I help with the community garden at our center and have a garden at home, too. In my free time, I really enjoy music and spending time outdoors.
Chloe Jenkins - Family Consultant
Children, one of life’s most abundant blessings; equally one of life’s greatest challenges. Everyone is just doing their best, right? Do you want to do MORE? Do you want new tools? Do you need to navigate through failures and create new strategies? You are not alone! As a Family Consultant for Mountain States Early Head Start, that’s exactly what my intentions are! Through building relationships with each other, your family, and our community, together we can create a brighter future! I posses a Bachelors Degree in Child Development, however, feet on the ground as a mother of two has equally taught me skills that you just can’t read in a book. I have over 11 years Head Start Experience. I adore the beautiful Inland Northwest and all the adventure it has to offer. I enjoy skiing in the winter and anything to do with water in the summer. I look forward to connecting with your family!
Jennifer Hepinstall - Family Consultant
I am a Family Consultant at the Mountain States Early Head Start center in Sandpoint. I have lived in Northern Idaho for most of my life and love the area especially in the spring, summer and fall. I have been working with children and families for much of my adult life in a variety of different settings and roles. I feel passionate about supporting parents in their role as their child’s first and most important teacher. I am mom to three grown children and am now “Grandma Jenny” to three adorable grandsons. My children and their children are the most special and important people in my life as I am sure your children are yours. Parenting is both the most rewarding thing I have ever done and the most challenging thing. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I found this to be true. I am excited by the opportunity to be part of your village. As a home visitor I feel privileged to walk alongside families as they connect with their children and help them develop and grow. I really look forward to connecting with your family and being a support and a resource on your parenting journey. You got this!!
